Yes the end is near. Baby girl is not out yet, but I can't wait to evict...err...umm...see her soon - hehehe! No new digi stamps this week! It's killing me to have to slow down now, but my body is starting is telling me to take it easy. This past weekend I had Braxton Hicks (false labour pains) that lasted all day and through a small portion of Sunday. They were actually quite painful and I was a little worried it could be the real deal. But they were so inconsistent, I just knew I didn't have to go to the hospital. I never had anything like this with my first pregnancy, so we were prepared with hospital bag loaded in the van, and had the car seat installed. Thank goodness this all happened on the weekend! I am really starting to regret not taking time off of work now. But we need the money, as I know from the first pregnancy how fast we went through all of the money we had saved up. I am worried about my water breaking while at work...but you gotta do what you gotta do - right?
I have been up since 2AM... :(
I had a weird dream last night I was on the bus with this scary homeless looking man with silver teeth. He was causing a commotion, and threatening to do something to hurt people, and of course I was trying to find a way to safely get off the bus without drawing attention to myself. I knew this was going to be quite the task, as my belly could not be well hidden from the dangerous man who lurked the bus. Figures, the man noticed me, and pointed out that I was pregnant. I tried to act like he wasn't there and changed seats, where he proceeded to follow me. I managed to get off the bus and make my way to work. Somehow I ended up in a school hallway, but this was also where I worked. The receptionist was trying to lift my shirt up to see my belly, and this made me quite uncomfortable as my fellow co-workers watched. So as I fought her off, I felt this huge stretch in my belly. I looked down and there was a perfect mold of a foot and leg poking out! SO GROSS! I remember everyone staring at my belly and pointing as I tried to bend the baby's leg back into my belly...and then I woke up in a sweat!!! What a strange dream eh? They say dreams have meaning. I think my dream means my life is chaotic right now with fears of leaving work, and wondering how the baby is going to greet us. I haven't slept since, but I cuddled up to my little boy who was sleeping in his bed. I thought and wondered about stuff like how it was going to be with just me home with the baby, and Kolby running wild. I know it is going to be a challenge for sure! Kolby is going through that 3 year old stage where he has these crazy bursts of energy, which is fine and healthy...but I know from my first pregnancy how tired I was in the beginning. But hey, if my Mum could do it with 4 kids without help, I really shouldn't be complaining! :) I CAN DO THIS!!!
At 5:00 AM this morning, I decided to go downstairs to make some breakfast and a huge cup of coffee. At 5:30, I heard little feet come down the stairs. There stood my little buddy. I made him some breakfast too, and we chillaxed and talked for a while. Eventually he fell back to sleep as I looked on with jealousy, wishing I could be in La-La Land too. Does anyone have any toothpicks to hold these lids of mine open today? *YAAAAAWN* He looks so cute laying there! Well, I'm off to start my work day. If this rambling blog post doesn't make any sense, I blame it on this baby and my lack of sleep this whole week - LOL! Have a crafty day ladies! Now to finish of that coff of cupee. ;) Oh right, I knocked it over and it spilt into the carpet - yup I did - oh lovely day!

About Me
- Sheryl. ♥Redonkadoodles♥
- I'm a wife, a mother, and a full time illustrator. I have a son who is 8, and a daughter 5. Drawing & Digital painting is my life, but wish drawing digis was my full time job b/c I get so much satisfaction from it! For now it is a hobby that is mainly for my babies, and my escape from the strict guideline of the lisenced properties I work on in everyday life! I LOVE my day job too. I create small MMO games for major featured films, anything ranging from Dreamworks Madagascar, Ice Age, Tin Tin, or Puss In Boots to projects as small as My Little Pony, Barbie, and Hello Kitty to name a small few. I enjoy painting traditionally and digitally, and there are days where I wish I had four arms so I can do everything! Family comes first for me - life is just too short, so I try to find a happy balance between crafts and my full time career.

So I went for an ultrasound to see my baby girl again. This time it was to check her growth. It was funny because Kolby asked the ultrasound technician if he was going to get his baby sister out yet. Lol! She is currently 6 pounds 13 oz, and they are guessing she will be around 7 pounds when she is delivered. This is such a relief to me because Kolby was just over 9 pounds and left me in the hospital for 5 days, and I had an extremely long recovery after being released. Although worth it, I never want to re-live that again, and I have been praying every night, everything goes well with this little beanie baby.
Energy. This was the theme of the weekend! I had none of it, and my son had an over abundance of it. Mr. Man has decided that napping is optional and has been doing everything else, but sleep. For example : Jim put Kolby down for his bedtime and Kolby asked "where are you going daddy? What are you doing? Stay with me..." Jim then replied "Daddy is just going downstairs, I'm going to tidy up." He proceeded to go downstairs to tidy and then we started to watch a television show. After 10 mins we can hear the pitter patter of little feet running back and forth in his room, and then galloping down the stairs. "Kolby, James!!! What are you doing outta bed?!?!" You know he's in trouble when I use his middle name. There stands Kolby with an arm full of his pants and shirts that were towering bigger than he was, and he says "I'm tidying up! I gotta clean my clothes." He hoofs them down the stairs with the rest of the laundry. "There! All done!" he says. Due to cuteness, Kolby managed an extra half hour before bed...
Another milestone has been reached! My son can...umm....pee while standing up - Lol! I didn't realize the skill it takes to get one little stream into a manhole cover sized hole. I watched my son spray the back of the toilet and dribble down my floor, only for him to look up and show me his big brown eyes and say "That was perfect Mommy!". I replied with a crooked smile :} "Yes Kolby that was perfect." Now I just wish I had an intercom "Clean up aisle six...."

Well that was my weekend fun! Now lets go to Kim's blog and check out what my design teamies have been up to...more redonkulousness no doubt!
Here is my latest digital stamp of a wedding couple. A few weeks ago, Kim mentioned I really needed to add a groom to my Wedding Bliss digi, but I figured I may as well do a completely new wedding stamp before the wedding season comes to an end. I always wanted to draw a dress with more folds - to make it fun to colour. In my head, I can picture how beautiful this image could be in colour...now I can't wait to see what others do with her!

Friends Forever - Digital Stamp
With worrying about installing the Baby's car seat, pack for the hospital, and get the baby's room ready.... I have been a pretty busy lady! This is suppose to be the time to relax right? Wrong!!! Hahaha! My day job has been rushing us to meet deadlines that were near impossible, especially being understaffed this week. And now that my shop is in full swing, I am still trying hard to get the word out, and in a bit of a panic to get more new products into the store as who knows what will happen when the baby comes - Whew! With all the chaos surrounding me, it has also been an exciting time. I have met soooo many nice ladies in the past few months and days, and I can't wait to meet more as my blog, store and Facebook fans grow over time. This weekend, I also managed to get a new digital stamp created called "Friends Forever". I also completed a new set of Scrapbook papers "Simply Sweet", and by popular demand, I created a boy version of "Ribbit". Wowzers! What a week...

....now can I have it back? LOL! Had a blast taking my little man strawberry picking. Yeah I know, strawberry season is almost over, but we just had to get our son out picking those berries! Well, I'm not sure how much picking was done by our little warrior, but he definitely burned some energy running the rows of strawberries. The fun was not done once we got home, as I cut up and used the blender on some of those strawberries, mixing them with REAL maple syrup. Mmm...Yum! Tasty and much better for you! Kolby was in charge of mixing the pancake mix, and Daddy was responsible for cooking. Team work baby, and a lot of fun! Kolby was excited to eat his creation, and during breakfast he told us the pancakes were going to make him bigger - Hehe, I hope Kolby remembers these days, and I hope my polite and helpful son will remain Mommy's angel even when he "Get's Bigger".
Side note - I usually finish my Blog posts early in the A.M. just before I head off to work. This morning (4AM) out of the blue I hear screams and a lot of crying. I leap out of my bed and proceed to go toward Kolby's room while half asleep. Kolby was still asleep to my surprise, but crying a long dragged out whine saying "I wannnnnnnna go in the Firetruck...but I waaaant to....Nooooo.....I wannnnnnnt to go in the Firetruck!" Lol - the poor little man! I guess with all the worries of the world, my 3 year old has his own Firetruck ride worries! As early and as tired as I was, it was worth the trip to his room to rub his little head, and tell him he is only dreaming...
DESIGN TEAM TIME!!!

Wedding Anniversary - A Glimpse into my Life
Well, it's Wednesday today - YAY! See what the girls were up to this week using my digital stamps!
I had a wonderful 4th Wedding Anniversary last Thursday. It seems so strange to say that I have been married for 4 years because my husband Jim and I have been together for 14 years...YES I KNOW - it only took him 10 years to finally commit! LOL..and I never let him forget it! But honestly, I think we did the right thing by purchasing our house first, pay off our student loans (only took about 15 years - YIKES!) and then finally got married and had a baby after our finances were in order. Now a little baby girl on the way in 4 weeks - we couldn't be happier! 14 years in the making - planning our life together. From major career changes to family tragedies - we've been through so much together and I am glad we had each other to share these moments, good or bad. For now, we finally get to sit back and see what else comes our way! When you have kids, it definitely feels like a new chapter! No more late nights at the bar, but instead late nights rocking babies to sleep - No more eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches when you are too tired to cook...eer, umm...at least not as much -LOL! So, this little back story of a glimpse into our lives leads me to talk about the gift my husband and son picked out together. Have you ever heard of a Pandora charm bracelet? I think l am probably the only girl on earth who hasn't! Haha! This is what my boys picked out for me. There is only one charm on it so far, and my first charm represents my son Kolby. Its the sweetest little thing. I can't wait to get one to represent my little girl next! What a great idea to have a bracelet that tells a story of your life. I love it - but boy, are they ever pricey! I guess this is what makes it a special treat! =)
Happy 4th of July to my neighbours in the USA! We had a wonderful Canada Day weekend, and Kolby enjoyed watching the Fireworks. Sadly, I was not very mobile this weekend b/c my hip is giving me a lot of pain from the baby (my Doctor says I shouldn't be walking - HA!). So taking her advice, I decided to remain somewhat couch bound and design some digital scrapbook papers and another digital stamp. I have a pile of unfinished sets of scrapbook papers and felt it was time to get at least another added to the new store. Hard to find the time these days-but I do plan on adding another set soon! I may take them right out of my Etsy shop b/c they are such a pain to email as the files are so big! It is so handy that my new online store allows instant downloads rather than me having to send 4 separate emails for 1 Etsy order! Y AY! This depended on what was ordered of course - but man, what a pain! Alright, enough whining - here are my new digital images, which can be found in my online store:
